Frederick, Maryland Names Fairchild Controls’ President Scott Selle to the City’s Airport Commission

Fairchild Control's President Scott Selle has been appointed as the Frederick, Maryland Airport Commission's Business Representative, becoming one of its seven voting members for a four-year mandate.

Scott Selle, who became Fairchild Controls' president in 2006, has been appointed to the Frederick Airport Commission.
 

The Frederick Municipal Airport handles approximately 130,000 aircraft operations annually and serves Maryland's second largest city, as well as the surrounding communities. With a 5,200-ft. long runway, the facility is capable of accommodating general aviation aircraft, business jets and helicopters.

"It is an honor to serve on the Frederick Airport Commission Board. The airport is located close to our company's headquarters," Selle said. "Fairchild Controls is a supplier to the world's aviation industry, and I will contribute our perspective in supporting the airport's major role in the development of Frederick and the region."
