EADS North America's Fairchild Controls business unit has selected Tube Bending Inc. as its 2008 Supplier of Excellence Award recipient, recognizing this Hesperia, Calif.-based company's performance in quality, delivery and service.
The annual Supplier of Excellence Award acknowledges a supplier's outstanding accomplishments, and Tube Bending's selection was made by members of Fairchild Controls' engineering, purchasing, integrated supply chain and executive teams.

Tube Bending supplies fluid and refrigeration tubes that are used by Fairchild Controls in its air drive and environmental control systems (ECS). Founded in 1959, the company was purchased by current owner Bryan Christoffersen in 2005, and has since experienced steady growth of 10-20 percent per year.Tube Bending has six employees, and Fairchild Controls represents 5-10 percent of the company's business.
