Fairchild Controls and its president, Scott Selle, have been named as finalists for the Tech Council of Maryland’s annual industry excellence awards, which will be presented this week.

The company is a finalist for the High Technology Firm of the Year award, while Selle is a candidate for the Executive of the Year recognition.  Winners will be announced May 14 at the Council’s Annual Tech Awards Celebration – which is one of Maryland's largest and most prestigious award ceremonies.

"The Tech Council of Maryland's nominations recognize the relentless efforts by all of our employees to deliver innovative technology and industry-leading value to aviation and defense customers across the globe,"Selle said. "As a Maryland-based business, one of our top commitments is being a responsible corporate citizen, as well as an active contributor to the state's technical community, so we're very proud to have received this recognition."
