The Fairchild Controls Supplier of Excellence Award is presented each year to a supplier in recognition of exceptional performance in delivering outstanding service and quality products on-time to meet the demanding requirements of the Aerospace and Defense industry. The 2009 award winners are suppliers to Fairchild Controls’ Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) and both achieved a supplier rating of 99.4%. In addition to outstanding ratings on quality and on-time delivery; these suppliers were also recognized for their continuous commitment to the Fairchild Controls ISC mission "to exceed the customers' expectations and add value every step of the way" Model Machine Company supplies precision machined components for major programs at Fairchild Controls. The supplier has demonstrated exemplary performance in consistently going above and beyond for Fairchild Controls – the Vice President of Model Machine Company, John Wahlhaupter has personally delivered essential parts to Fairchild Controls in order to meet requirements. This is the third year the Baltimore, Maryland based company received the Supplier of Excellence Award from Fairchild Controls. Integral Components Inc. manufacturers harness assemblies for all key Fairchild Controls programs. This supplier has continued to strategically invest in modern equipment; including high power test systems which allow the company to enhance it’s capabilities in providing essential products and services to Fairchild Controls. The Maryland based supplier continues to be proactive in responding quickly and proactively to all requests from Fairchild Controls.
