Our engineering team consists of experienced design, project, test, field service, and manufacturing engineers that all work together to support customers from conceptualization through product design and development, and into fielded service.
Fairchild Controls maintains an advanced and comprehensive in-house testing facility. We have also developed a substantial network of outside testing facilities. Our experienced test engineers strictly control and monitor the testing process to insure each product has been properly validated to perform to customer expectations. By having the testing facility collocated with the manufacturing department, we have the capability of performing mechanical, thermal, and electrical testing in-house, which improves turn-around-time and reduces the overall development time.
To be a preferred supplier of environmental, electronic, and pneumatic control systems for the stringent aerospace and defense industries, Fairchild Controls uses a battle-tested and industry-proven Program Management framework. Our skilled and experienced Program Managers relentlessly plan and lead empowered cross-functional program teams over the full product lifecycle to achieve predictable and consistent performance, inspiring customer confidence. Throughout this collaborative effort, key program risks and resource needs, as well as the way forward are transparently prioritized and communicated. Such decision-making is based on international standards and leverages the combined knowledge and best practices from across EADS and our global supply chain.
